Irish Hour |
After 14 very successful years on the radio The Tipperary Irish Hour has decided to take a break from weekly radio broadcast. It has been a great run. We have been the highest rated specialty program of any kind in the Albany market for years and years, nothing else ever came close, financial, handyman, ethnic, not even close. When Tom had time to handle the syndication we were heard on 12 stations in 9 states and around the world on the internet. Ah, the internet, that part will not change, once in a while we will post a new show here and at eIrish.com for all the world to hear.
Tom would like to thank the tens of thousands of loyal listeners he has shared Sunday morning with for so many years. His job running the Irish Music Corporation, as you might imagine, demands much much more than a forty hour work week. The need to balance work with spending time with his wife and four boys means something had to go and that is unfortunately is the beloved weekly broadcasts. He has enjoyed being a part of so many of your lives, wishes all of you all the best and hopes you will tune in right here to hear classics from the Tipperary Irish Hour library of over 500 shows and the new special shows he posts on line. Oh he asked us to mention, If he doesn't see you at Tipperary… he'll see you at Church.
Enjoy and God Bless. The Staff of Tipperary
